Traditional culture in many colors, sounds and flavors - from handicrafts, through music, dance, singing to cuisine, will traditionally come to Lublin. Re:Tradition Festival and its unseparable part - Jagiellonian Fair - will take place again in August!
The idea of the Jagiellonian Fair refers to the famous Lublin Fairs, which at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries were one of the most famous international trade events.
From the early Middle Ages, trade in various goods developed in Lublin, thanks to the trade route that ran through the city. The famous Lublin fairs were visited not only by domestic merchants, but also by those from the most remote corners of the world at that time. Based on this tradition, as every year, the Jagiellonian Fair will be held in Lublin, as a part of the Re:Tradition festival. It is an event presenting traditional culture in many dimensions - from folk art, through music, dance and singing, cuisine and ludicity related to science and education.
Walking through the streets of the Old Town, you will see a lot of patterns, colors and styles presented by folk artists from Poland. You will listen to stories, learn the secrets of the products and have the opportunity to buy them.
Through the simplest, traditional forms of spending free time, you will have the opportunity to experience a real meeting with another person.
