Lublin Opera

The Lublin Opera is one of the most important cultural institutions in Lublin, combining tradition with modernity. Its stage presents a full cross-section of the performing arts – from operas and operettas, through musicals and ballet performances, to concerts and educational shows. The institution, in continuous operation since 1947 (originally as the Musical Theatre), attracts both local music lovers and tourists visiting the city. The repertoire includes classic opera works, well-known operettas and musicals, as well as performances for children and young audiences. The Lublin Opera regularly collaborates with renowned directors, choreographers and soloists from across Poland, ensuring the highest artistic standards. An important part of its mission is also educational activity and the promotion of opera among different age groups.
