The tenament house formerly belonging to the merited historian and archivist Sergiusz Jan Riabinin (1872-1942), is currently the seat of the Józef Czechowicz Museum of Literarature – a branch of the Lublin Museum.

Museum commemorates and promotes the life and works of popular Lublin writers – Konrad Bielski, Józef Łobodowski, Kazimierz Andrzej Jaworski, Antoni Madej and Józef Czechowicz (1903-1939) – considered to be one of the greatest polish poets of the 20th century. A monument dedicated to the him is situated in the vicinity of the Litewski Square (see: stop 12). In the house at 2 Złota Street lived Franciszka Arnsztajnowa, an independence activist, co-founder – together with Czechowicz – of the Lublin branch of the polish writers union. Together, they published a collection of poetry devoted to the old town entitled Stare Kamienie (Old Stones).
