THE GREAT JUBILEE OF LUBLIN - FOR HERITAGE, COMMUNITY, AND FUTURE 10-15th of August 2017

On the 15th of August 1317 duke Władysław the Elbow-high signed the city charter of Lublin based on Magdeburg rights. Exactly 700 years later, from 10th to 15th of August, we celebrate Lublin's Birthday. For 6 days the historical centre of Lublin, from the Litewski Square to the Castle Hill, will change into a great stage for events connected with culture, art, and history. The program covers the events telling about Lublin's great heritage, it's multicultural traditions, with help of contemporary artists from Lublin and Europe.
